Conscious Leadership.
Real Ownership.
Collective Impact.
I help organisations evolve as living systems - so transformation becomes real, not just performed.
I help organisations evolve as living systems - so transformation becomes real, not just performed.
What HiveShift stands for:
Organisations as living systems: dynamic, interconnected, shaped by how people lead, relate and take ownership.
How I work:
I support leaders, teams and organisations in navigating transformation as evolving living systems. My work focuses on how leadership, relationships and ownership can shift to create meaningful and lasting change, combining coaching, facilitation, individual and collective learning experiences. Everything starts with the desired future impact in mind.
It takes courage to change how we lead, relate and take ownership. It is easier with someone by your side who believes in you.
I’m Denisa Panaite Casu, founder of HiveShift. I do this work to help people create better, more meaningful lives, at work and at home. We are all part of wider systems: when one person shifts, their team, their family and their organisation feel the difference.
For more than 20 years I have worked with leaders and teams, from first-time managers to executive teams and boards, in Romania, across Central and Eastern Europe and in global cohorts. What I care about is the change that stays after the session ends: in how people think, feel and act the next day.
As a coach, I see myself as a detective of self-awareness and creative solutions. I believe you already have what you need; my job is to help you see it, with encouragement, challenge or space to think, at your pace. The goal is that you leave able to make your own decisions.
With teams, I look at culture as something that can carry your strategy or quietly slow it down. We find which habits help and which get in the way, then practise the critical few behaviours that improve both results and collaboration.
When I train or facilitate, people learn by doing, so what they discover in the room becomes something they use at work.
I also train and mentor coaches, helping them grow in their own style, not mine.
I work in English and Romanian, face to face and online.

Clarity on the leader you want to be, more confidence in your decisions, and fewer difficult conversations postponed.
When something isn't working, at work or in life, it's easy to experience it as happening TO ME: the boss, the team, the deadline, the circumstances. Coaching with me is a space to notice how you are standing in that situation and to shift to a BY ME state of consciousness: seeing the part that is yours to shape and choosing what you do next. For leaders at any stage, including those in their first years of managing people.
TO ME / BY ME: a model from the Conscious Leadership Group (conscious.is).
For ICF-credentialed coaches renewing their credential or moving from ACC to PCC.
We work with your real sessions, recorded or live, and I give you feedback grounded in what actually happened, against the ICF competencies at PCC level. I keep what I observed apart from my own preferences, so you grow in your style, not mine. You leave with a clearer view of your strengths, your next learning edge and more confidence in how you coach.
Most leadership programmes start with a list of skills and ask about impact afterwards, if at all. I start from the other end. Together we look at where your leaders are now, where you need them to be, and how that connects to what the organisation, the team and each person are working towards.
We describe the change in three ways:
how leaders will think differently,
how they will feel,
and what they will actually do afterwards.
We also agree how you and they will recognise it, in the short and the longer term. Then we build backwards: which capabilities to develop, how ready people are, what support they will have from their own leaders and stakeholders, how many people need to be involved for the change to hold, and how they will keep practising once the programme ends. Only then do we choose the format and design the experience: a learning programme, coaching, team sessions, or a mix.
You know what a good difficult conversation looks like. What gets in the way is the moment itself: the frustration, the worry, the urge to fix it fast.
Emotional intelligence is the set of skills that help us notice and work with emotions, our own and other people's, so that our decisions and behaviour serve what we want to achieve. These skills can be developed at any stage of a leader's career.
As a Certified Genos Emotional Intelligence Practitioner, I work with:
Genos EI assessments (self, 180° or 360°), with one-to-one or group debriefs, so the feedback turns into a few concrete next steps.
Leading with Emotional Intelligence, the Genos programme I have delivered many times: six modules on how leaders connect, communicate and influence, from self-awareness and difficult conversations to decisions, resilience and motivating others. I run each module as a 3-hour session, online or face to face.
The Emotional Culture Index (ECI), for teams and organisations: a Genos survey of how often people feel valued, informed, stressed or mistreated at work, compared with how often they think is reasonable and how they would ideally feel. The gaps show where to put your energy first. The ECI report for your team or organisation is at no cost.
As in all my work, we start from the difference you want to see in your leaders, then choose: an assessment, the programme, coaching, or a mix.
Every piece of work starts with a conversation about the difference you want to make.
